Payment options for 23-2024 dance season

Competitive /recreational program (including Rising Stars) and spring classes

Customers enroll in Auto-Pay1 (monthly payments) for which credit card details are necessary to complete the registration. The automatic payments are applied on the 1st of each month, with the final payment scheduled for June 1st. Registration and Intensive Fees are due at the time of registration.

Adult Sessions

Fees are automatically processed within three business days from the time of registration using the credit card saved on file (by setting up and agreeing to Auto-Pay1).
Customers enroll in Auto-Pay1 (monthly payments) for which credit card details are necessary to complete the registration. The automatic payments are applied on the 1st of each month. The payment deadline for adult sessions always falls on the last month of the session.

Summer dance camps (day and sleepaway)

Customers enroll in Auto-Pay1 (monthly payments) for which credit card details are necessary to complete the registration. The automatic payments are applied on the 1st of each month, with the final payment scheduled for July 1st. Camp deposit is due at the time of registration.

1 Credit Card and Auto-Pay payments automatically incur a 3% convenience fee per transaction

Enrollment for Auto-Pay is required for some programs, i.e. Adults Sessions, Summer classes. If you do not wish to enroll in Auto-Pay,  please contact us by email to process your registration manually.

Alternatively, if you prefer to pay by cash, check, or e-transfer, you can choose the option to pay by installments.

We accept the following methods of payment:

E-Transfer, Cash, Cheques, Credit cards (online only)

CREDIT CARD1: online payment only through Student Account.
E-TRANSFER: send to [email protected]. All E-transfers must include Student Name and Class details in the transfer's "Notes" section.
CASH: exact amount only in an envelope with student name, class details, date and amount written on it. Please contact for delivery methods.
CHEQUES: all cheques should be made payable to "School of Modern Dance". Please contact for delivery methods.

Cancellation Policy

DAY CAMPS: cancel 30 days or more before the beginning of the camp to get full refund, less the camp deposit; 50% refund if cancelled 15 to 30 days prior to the start date; non-refundable if cancelled 14 days or less prior to the start date of the program. $40 camp deposit is not refundable.

SLEEPAWAY CAMP:

Before January 1 – get full refund of all fees less a $50 cancellation fee
January 1 to March 1 - full refund of all fees less a $100 cancellation fee
March 1 to May 1 – full refund of all fees less a $150 cancellation fee
May 1 to June 30 - get 50% of the camp fee refunded
After July 1 – fees are non-refundable.

NO refund will be made for dismissals due to disciplinary actions, for late arrivals, or for early departures.

SPIRNG/SUMMER CLASSES: cancellations made 14 days or more in advance of the class date, will receive a 100% refund; cancellations made in less than 14 days of the class date will incur a 2 weeks charge. If you need to withdraw from the class in the middle of the season, please send us 2 weeks written notice via email to get a refund less the classes already attended.

RECREATIONAL (including RISING STARS) PROGRAM(s): students can withdraw from the program with a 2 weeks written notice sent to our email and get a refund, less the classes already attended. Registration fee is not refundable.

COMPETITIVE PROGRAM(s): students can withdraw from the program within 4 weeks from the registration with the written notice sent to our email and get a full refund, less the classes already attended. Registration fee, dance intensive, competition and costume fees are not refundable.

ADULTS SESSIONS: cancel 7 days or more before the beginning of the 1st class to get a full refund; non-refundable if cancelled 6 days or less prior to the start date of the session.

No refunds, credits or make-up classes will be provided for missed classes due to student absences or classes cancelled due to extreme weather, natural disasters or any unforeseen events which will make it impossible to host classes safely. All fees paid for costumes, performances or competitions are not refundable.
