The SCHOOL OF MODERN DANCE offers classes for children as young as 2 years old as well as for adults. Dancers can choose to take classes for leisure or become part of our competitive teams.

In addition, our annual year-end recital provides an exciting opportunity for all students, regardless of age or experience level, to showcase their skills on stage.

Meet our talented team - a group of passionate dancers who have created a stunning community around them.

Multiple winner of various dance competitions in Europe, master of sports in rhythmic gymnastics, graduate of Lviv National Ballet School, adjudicator of international dance competitions. Anna was involved in multiple famous shows and projects as a dancer and choreographer in Ukraine. After moving to Ottawa was a soloist of Svitanok Dance Ensemble for 7 years. Anna has over 20 years of teaching experience and is very passionate about sharing her knowledge with students.

She is a multiple winner of dance competitions and has been teaching in Eastern Europe and Canada for over 10 years. Always stylish and creative choreography, with a fresh twist. Raven has a passion for teaching and inspiring others in the art of dance, as well as sharing her knowledge of the dance industry with new generations.

Rowan is committed to creating an inspiring and supportive environment where students feel empowered to grow, express themselves, and reach their full potential.

Sarah is a passionate dancer, having spent 5 years dancing competitively in Hip Hop, Musical Theatre and Contemporary with ADAPT Jazz and RAD ballet based training. Sarah quickly obtained her ADAPT teaching certificate in Tap and Jazz, and volunteers as a choreographer for the University of Ottawa Dance Club. Blending technique and style, Sarah enjoys teaching dancers of all ages and collaborating with other artists to build strong foundations and encourage individuality.

Madison, born and raised in Ottawa, began dancing at age three. She trained locally, performed with Ballet Jörgen, and competed regionally, earning multiple titles and scholarships—eventually representing Team Canada in tap. She began teaching in 2015, became ADAPT certified in 2020, and later obtained her teacher's certification through the Kim Chalovich Tap Dance Center. Madison is also certified with Acrobatic Arts and is an affiliated member of the CDTA. Passionate about inspiring young dancers, Madison brings a wealth of knowledge across multiple disciplines, including ballet and pointe, tap, jazz, musical theatre, hip hop, lyrical, and contemporary.

Experienced dancer and choreographer in contemporary, lyrical, ballet, pointe and jazz. Amy began dancing in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 2 and has completed her ADAPT and RAD examinations as well as a fine arts certificate while attending a pre professional training program during high school. With over 20 years of combined competitive dancing and teaching experience across Canada she has won awards for her choreography at national competitions, she loves using her creativity through choreography and storytelling.
