2023 Year End Showcase
We are excited to invite you to our Year End Showcase on June 17th where dancers from 2 years old to adults will show what they have learned during the 2022-23 dance season. Get ready to give your maximum emotions to our dancers and have fun!

Show: 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, doors open at 3:30PM
Kailash Mital Theatre @ Carleton University
Located on the Colonel By side of campus, and is attached to Southam Hall, which is adjacent to Parking Lot #1.
Tickets
Tickets can be purchased here
The tickets must be purchased online before the event as there will be no "buy at the door" option. Each ticket has pre-assigned seating. Please note that only a small amount of seats is left - buy yours as soon as possible.
Cash only event. We recommend arriving early and bringing cash to the event. There will be beverages, snacks and SMD merchandise available for sale.
Video and show recording
There will be a professional videographer recording the showcase.
The video of the whole concert will be available for sale for $35. If you would like to purchase it, please send an email transfer to info@schoolofmoderndance.com with the student name and what it's for in comments.
Please note that the year end show has a live audience and is filmed for Digital File purchase. By participating yourself, or having your child participate in the year end show, you are consenting to having them dance in front of a live audience and being filmed.
Dress Rehearsal
June 8th - ALL DANCERS MUST ATTEND!

Parents are not staying with kids during the rehearsal except with Toddlers. Rising Stars are optional.
One of our teachers or volunteers will be waiting inside the Kailash Mital building lobby (by the theatre entrance) at your scheduled time to escort dancers to their place.
Consider arriving earlier since the dancers have to be ready to start dancing at their ARRIVAL TIMES (see below) - dancer must have makeup and hair done. You can wear your costume (if you have multiple dances- first costume of the rehearsal - check the dances order below) or bring the costume with you for a quick change (in that case give yourself additional 10 minutes).
Please consider extra time for traffic, parking, finding the theatre ( it is a bit tricky), etc. It is extremely important to be ready for dancing at your scheduled time (see below) so that the dancer(s) do not miss the stage time and their class(es) photo time.
