Join us in celebrating artistry and creativity at the Kailash Mital Theatre!

We are thrilled to present TWO shows this year on June 8th, at 12:00 and 4.00PM. Our students have been preparing exciting and entertaining routines and can't wait to share them with you. Please note that some classes are performing in both shows (competitive and some adult classes). All kids recreational classes are performing in one show.

Please arrive a little earlier to allow for additional time to sign-in the dancers with Dmitri and bring their stuff to the changerooms. Only kids in classes for ages 3.5 to 15 will be required to sign-in/sign-out by the parent. Please DO NOT FORGET to sign-out when collecting your dancers at the end of the show.

SHOW #1:

  • Below classes arrive at 10:45AM; Rising Stars arrive at 11:00AM
  • Rising Stars will be picked up at the end of show #1 from the stage. All other classes that ARE NOT IN SHOW #2 will be picked up from the large changing room

LUNCH BREAK:

Those participating in both shows - bring nut-free lunch with you. There will be about 45 - 60 minutes for lunch break at one of the theater changerooms.

SHOW #2:

  • All classes bellow arrive at 2:45PM; Toddler classes arrive at 3:10PM (no need to sign-in for Toddlers)
  • Dancers in classes for ages 6 to 9 will be picked up at the end of show #2 from the stage.
  • All recreational classes ages 10 -13 and Teens will be picked up from the large changing room
  • ALL competitve classes ages 10 -13 and Teens will be picked up from the lobby

The recital showcase will be professionally recorded, with a separate photographer capturing all dances on stage. We guarantee to provide a minimum of 3 images for each dance featuring all dancers, along with the full video of the recital recorded as a single file containing the entire show.

Media package (photo and video): $45.

To order send an e-transfer to [email protected] (include the student's name and which show you are looking for in comments (show #1 or show #2)). If you are in both shows- we will provide the media package for both shows - just include both shows in comments.

The photo package will include a minimum of 3 images for each dance featuring all dancers. Aside from this, we do not guarantee to capture any specific moment, or pose, or dancer(s) during the shoot. The video of the recital will be provided as a single recording containing an entire show (Shows #1 and #2 will be recorded as two separate videos). The media package containing photos and video will be available for download no later than 5 weeks after the date of the recital.

Parents to drop-off kids at their scheduled time and come back to the theater at 3:30-3:45PM for the show. Parents of Toddlers should stay with their kids. For Rising Stars classes - optional. One of our teachers or volunteers will be waiting inside of the Kailash Mital building lobby (by the theatre entrance) at your scheduled time to escort dancers to their place. Please consider extra time for traffic, parking, etc.

photo/Video recording waiver

There will be a professional videographer recording the showcase.

The video of the whole concert will be available for sale for $35. If you would like to purchase it, please send an email transfer to [email protected] with the student name and what it's for in comments.

Please be advised that by allowing your child or yourself to participate in Year-End Showcase, you are consenting to the possibility of them being recorded on video or photo. The event will be professionally recorded, and the photo or video may include footage of all participants, including you or your child. If you have any concerns or objections regarding this, please notify us in advance, however, please understand that we won't have any possible means of assuring that you or your child will not be captured by either a photo or video recording.

Get ready to give your maximum cheers on our dancers and have fun!

Parents are not staying with kids during the rehearsal except with Toddlers. Rising Stars are optional.

One of our teachers or volunteers will be waiting inside the Kailash Mital building lobby (by the theatre entrance) at your scheduled time to escort dancers to their place.

Consider arriving earlier since the dancers have to be ready to start dancing at their ARRIVAL TIMES (see below) - dancer must have makeup and hair done. You can wear your costume (if you have multiple dances- first costume of the rehearsal - check the dances order below) or bring the costume with you for a quick change (in that case give yourself additional 10 minutes).

Please consider extra time for traffic, parking, finding the theatre ( it is a bit tricky), etc. It is extremely important to be ready for dancing at your scheduled time (see below) so that the dancer(s) do not miss the stage time and their class(es) photo time.
